Sometimes your bathroom might, by default, be designed in a way that forces you to be creative. Sometimes the issues can seem like they can not even be tackled as they are so tricky, such as the shower enclosure being positioned in an alcove. Luckily a pivot door, also known as a swing-open door, is a fantastic way to go about fixing an issue like this. A pivot door slots into a dedicated space, as you might expect, and it pivots on two pins which are located, one at the top, and one at the bottom of the frame, allowing the door to open and close. As both pivoting pins are located as near to the wall as they possibly can be, the door opening area is generously large, providing for a wide entrance that can be great for a bathroom designed to require something like that.
Having a shower door like this has a great amount of benefits over others, as it is great for an alcove, and it is a full shower enclosure through the two side panels. They are fantastically flexible doors that can easily be installed on either the left or right side, and they can range from about 36-48 inches wide.
These pivot doors are absolutely fantastic and are very versatile. They can truly complement every different style of bathroom -- especially one that is vying for space a little bit.
